Privacy

Family photos do not belong in our cloud.

ExifBatch reads and writes photo metadata locally on your Mac. Images, filenames, capture dates, GPS coordinates and export manifests are not uploaded to Shipmac.

Photos and folders

The app accesses only the JPEG or HEIC files and folders you explicitly select or drop into it. Exports are new copies written to a destination you choose. Original photos are not overwritten.

Location data

GPS coordinates are displayed and changed locally. The first release does not use reverse geocoding or send coordinates to a mapping provider.

Website logs

This website may retain standard server request logs for security and reliability, including IP address, browser type and requested path. Personal information is not sold.
